Meals and Baking

Enjoy delicious meals and home baking fresh from each of Wesleyhaven’s three kitchens.

Certainly the smell of good old home cooking wafting from the kitchen in each home is tantalising and necessitates a check of the day’s menu when passing through the dining room.  With breakfast, lunch and tea meals supplemented by morning tea, afternoon tea and supper, food is not usually in short supply.

Residents enjoy delicious meals and baking as food is prepared on site in the kitchen in each facility.  The cooks regularly talk with residents about their preferences and ensure there is always plenty to eat, with meals being eagerly anticipated.

The day’s main meal is served at lunch time, while in the evening there is a choice of soup or a light meal.  Morning, afternoon tea and supper is also served, so it is seldom that there isn’t a ‘cuppa’ available.

Approximate meal times:

  • Breakfast 7.30-8.30am
  • Morning tea 10am
  • Lunch 12 noon
  • Afternoon tea 2.30pm
  • Evening meal 5pm
  • Supper 8pm

Visitors are welcome to join residents for meals, for a small fee; prior notice is preferred, just give our team a call on 04 567 8766.
